Purpose
Sorsa Score for X displays public Sorsa Scores beside account handles on X.
Data processed
The extension reads public account handles displayed in identity areas on
x.com and twitter.com. It does not read post bodies,
private messages, passwords, authentication tokens, cookies, payment information,
or private account data.
How handles are used
A visible public handle is used to request its matching public profile page at
https://app.sorsa.io/profile/{handle}. Requests are sent without
browser credentials or cookies. The extension does not sell data, use it for
advertising, or build user profiles.
Local storage
Confirmed scores, public handles, cache timestamps, and parser metadata may be
stored locally for up to 24 hours. Users can remove this data with the
Clear score cache button or by uninstalling the extension.
Data sharing
The extension does not transmit data to a separate extension analytics or advertising server. A public X handle is sent only to Sorsa to retrieve the matching public score. Sorsa processing is governed by the Sorsa Privacy Policy.
Security and Limited Use
The extension uses Manifest V3, requests only the permissions required for its single purpose, and does not download or execute remote code.
The use of information received through Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide or improve the extension's single purpose, is not used for personalized advertising, and is not made available for human review except where the user gives explicit consent or where required for security or legal compliance.
